Those charming kids over at Indymedia are apparently miffed by the bad press given to recently killed Bin Laden Deputy Mohammed Atef, and so are responding by re-publishing the names of everyone killed at the Pentagon. Heres what they want to know about those massacred on Sept. 11:
You are either for or against the terrorists, and obviously those people have understood the message all too well and now need to be dared.
Don't tread on me!
Why don't those asking this question make it their job to find out the answers? Why burden others with things that interest them? And if the media did research and publish a number that didn't agree with their preconceived notion of the correct answer, they'd just grouse about the result anyway. Better just to let them make up a number they're happy with and publish like Mitch Ryder did with his homeless stats.
OK, here's the the body count I want, entire history of the world, those who made first strike get credit for all casualties, those who seek to suppress liberty vs. those who seek to advance liberty.
Of course, you're correct.
...& a shower in kerosine is sure to hurt all the more given the sooty nature of the filth suggested in this piece of fecal matter.
The good news in all of this is, who in the hell is Matt Welch; moreover, for Heaven's sake, what in the hell's a mattwelch.com >??<
Forget about why anyone should care.
Now, as for this setting any new low water mark for Leftist babble?
I dunno...
This moron would have to compete with the likes of sludge plants *like* the LA+NYSlimes, WACcompost Heap, Atlanta Urinal & Constipation & their gaggles of "professional" vandals.
Frankly?
This joker hasn't an ice cube's chance in hell of reeking (nearly) as bad as what spews out of those toilet bowls, although?
~He tries.
nah let them (english) by Julia 9:31am Sun Oct 21 '01The threat that there is an atomic device already in America ready to be denotated is a reoccuring theme at Indymedia.
if nukes are used it guarantees the idiots in USA will also get nuked.. too bad.. how sad.
The planet will recover.. and hopefully there will be very few humans left roaming this beautiful place.
If they manage to obliterate the planet.. well at least we died fighting.
Viva la revolution!!!

The sheer thought of using nuclear weapons in a situation like this is too ridiculous to comment on. I find it difficult to imagine why Mr. Reagan would ask such a question. Who is this guy?

I've been able, for this long, to con myself into believing that I was overly cynical about my countrymen. I no longer believe this to be the case. That the vast majority support the bombing in Afghanistan, and now imbeciles are speaking in favor of nuking anyone for anything, has confirmed my most cynical suspicions: Americans in general are an ignorant, selfish, spoiled, uninformed lot. Wake up call: the 11 Sept attacks and subsequent anthrax attacks) if in fact bin Laden is behind the latter), didn't happen because we aren't Muslims; they happened because we've been stomping around the globe for the past 50 years acting like we own the place, largely in pursuit of petrol to sustain our lazy, spoiled way of life. Whatever your views, if the U.S. starts tossing nukes around, cheap gas, hallelujah, will be the least of your worries.
This country still has, just barely, the resources and the clout to become the capitol of the civilized world, a progressive nation to be proud of, if it would take its finger (not to mention its mind) off the button for a while.
A view from nuclear-free New Zealand (english)

address: NZ
You pro-nuke people disgust me! Try living outside your country and learn to see yourselves as others see you. I'm rapt that we got rid of your stinking crap nuclear junk in the mid-1980s. Pollute your own pathetic country and leave the rest of us alone!!!!You tried 'gunboat diplomacy' on us at the time too - if on a far lesser scale than Afghanistan is presently enduring. The action is still negatively impacting on NZ re US-NZ relations, even in Shanghai this week, but at least we made a stand and continue determinedly to stick by it.
The more I see on this kill, kill, kill stuff aimed at the innocent impoverished half-starved multitudes in Afghanistan, the less I care about the people killed in New York and Washington. At least they had the relative luxury of dying fast and not by lingering slowly over days, weeks or months.
I guess many others around the world increasingly feel the same way. You (your govt. knew in advance) didn't give a damn when you let the French Government come here and blow up the 'Rainbow Warrior' in Auckland Harbour. I was in no way connected with any other these protest groups (anti-nuke, Greenpeace etc.) at the time or now, but I support their views and appreciate their sacrifices.
So return to burying your heads in the God-forsaken US sand and get out of our (i.e. rest of world) lives!
Message from the base (english) by sleeper cell one 5:43pm Sun Oct 21 '01At least one backpack nuke is in situ in the cities of the infidel. There may be others but we cells dont talk to each other. When the nuke is used by you or our leader is taken then you will see what oppenheimer spoke of,may allah have mercy on you.
Indymedia was helpful in organizing the riots in Seattle and Genoa. Since 9-11, they've lost much of their union support (and groups such as Ruckus) but there is no doubt they will be back. They are organzing rallies to disrupt WTO/IMF meetings right now.
Thanks Croooow; I didn't know that and may just go ahead & bookmark this.
As a kind of, "Doomsday Device" of sorts?
If ya understand? {g}
