Miss Marple suggested that Rudy be named the US Attorney and I concur -- would like to see ms. clinton say she wouldn't approve Rudy!

Miss Marple's suggestion sounds agreeable to me.

"Miss Marple suggested that Rudy be named the US Attorney and I concur -- would like to see ms. clinton say she wouldn't approve Rudy!" From your lips to God's ears, let it be, please, let it be!

would like to see ms. clinton say she wouldn't approve Rudy! She would disapprove Rudy in a second while at the same time giving the middle finger to her constituents. Hitlery has never given the slightest care to how her actions appear in the eyes of the public. Why should she start now. Grabbing power and covering her extremely large ass have been her only concerns. She could care less what the peasants think. She will always have her blind supporters.

Do you think we should all be calling the White House & asking for Rudy's appointment?

Rudy would be great. He could be there just long enough to clean up and get some convictions for his resume. Then he could be promoted to CIA Director or V.P. candidate.

I like the idea too...but wouldn't it be proper for the Junior Senator to recuse herself in this case? Seems as though she should since she's one of the folks being scrutinized.

Miss Marple suggested that Rudy be named the US Attorney ROTFL!!
Great idea, but all that adulation has probably gone to his head and he wouldn't want to risk it by doing a bad meanie-type job again. And I'll let him off the hook. He has done his share, so let him enjoy his post-prostate cancer life.

Didn't I hear back before the NY Senate race officially got started that Hillary had some dirt on Rudy's father and that's why he backed out...not the cancer, but to keep his father's name clear. That being the case, which I, for one, believe it is, what's to keep her from using the same blackmail on the good mayor again?

As always, you and Miss Marple are right on the money.
Going to Dallas for the big game, or are you saving your money for the Rose Bowl?

As great as Rudy would be, I think it would be a kind of "been there-done that" job from his point of view....a demotion in a sense.
Now giving Ashcroft the heave-ho and letting Rudy have the AG job would be a perfect solution.
