Ahhh, yes. The Omni Shoreham Hotel. Where, once a year, the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) holds its convention celebrating weaponry of the most decidedly patriotic bent...

How many times did I attend as an exhibitor, extolling the virtues of the newest, biggest, most lethal weapons systems available to America's fighting men (and women).

It's well worth the time to visit in October, and to salivate over everything from the Colt display of handguns, to the Oerlikon display of AA artillery, to the really big guns...a turreted 120mm smoothebore from an M1A1 Main Battle Tank!
