Note from Bill:

This e-mail arrived Sunday night from Alice and Earl Vanlandingham of Washington D.C. They have forwarded the following urgent messages from Christian friends of theirs who are in danger and in need of prayer in Indonesia. Please join your brothers and sisters in Christ in these prayers. Include and involve your family, prayer chain, prayer group, Bible study, or workplace in praying for these Christian people in Indonesia.

------

Alice and Earl: I just got this urgent message from Dr. John Dekker. John was the missionary first into the Dani Tribe in Irian Jaya in 1960. He and his wife Helen remained there for 21 years. He is a member of Partners International. He is constantly close to the Indonesian situation. He is a close friend of mine and when he has a message like this. it is necessary that we need to pray immediately for God's intervention and protection on behalf of so many Indonesian Christians. Elzie

------

Letter forwarded from Dr. Dekker:

Dear Friends,

The district of Poso, Central Sulawesi, is under attack as I write this! (It is Saturday evening in Indonesia).

Over 50,000 Christians are in terrible peril, as I write. The Islamic Jihad are attacking, and the situation is critical. Unless there is a miracle, many lives will be lost.

I have just talked with Christian leaders in Tentena, and they are crying out for help. They are desperate for food, medicine, and PROTECTION. They are completely surrounded and request our prayer support.

Please bring this situation to the attention of as many intercessors as possible as these Christians are in imminent danger. If the Jihad terrorists break through, there will be great massacres. The Jihad are well-organized and well-equipped.

This request is of utmost urgency, and we must pray that the hand of the Lord will stop these disciples of bin Laden from doing their evil deeds.

Please call on your friends and churches everywhere to begin praying now that the Lord will intervene to prevent these Islamic terrorists from endangering these Christians.

Jeff Hammond

Tonight the President is hosting 50 muslim clerics, and nothing will be said or done to help these people. Every Ramadan they have their Jihads.

Dear Lord, please be with them in their hour of need.

Dear Lord, please awaken the Christian world to their plight.

Thank you, Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Prayer bump. I will begin to pray that Bush's eyes be opened and that he quit making the muslims look like the victims.

We all need to pray that Bush's eyes are opened to what Islam really is. I find it amazing that someone who claims to be a Christian can even think of embracing the Islam religion. Especially with their mindset on how to treat the "infidels", (i.e. Christian, Jews or anyone not of the Islamic faith). Our prayers also need to go out to all Christians in the Islamic nations, as they will need it to be strong in their faith. Unfortunately, it will only get worse.

I'm all for giving the decendents of Ishmael the Holy War they're begging for, In fact I relish the thought, as they will lose and the "Islamist problem" will be solved for generations.

They will deserve to lose. IMO, they're a dispicable disease on humanity that offers nothing to the betterment of mankind or civilization. Nothing that I can see anyway.

Somebody prove me wrong so I can quit having wishful visions of charred and destroyed Mecca (which would take about 15 minutes to accomplish).

Of course not. Kofianan had alot to do with what happend in Sudan. He allowed it to happen, they first disarmed the people in Sudan and promised them protection. Then even with information about the slaughter that was about to take place he turned his back on those people.

We need to have a world-wide movement to pressure the UN and world leaders to push for human rights of citizens in Muslim countries. Perhaps a written letter to the UN and letters to members of congress. This issue needs more publicity.Chritians should plan a march on the UN.

Unfortunately, it is my belief that the UN supports this kind of thing. Just look at Sudan and the UN's response for proof on that. The Islamic nations are a powerful force to reckon with (i.e. Saudia Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Egypt, etc.)and they have been working behind the scenes for a long time now. They have a major influence in the UN and the USA, that's one of the reasons you don't hear about things like this from our mainstream media, you have to look for outside sources to find the truth. Since Sept. 11 Islam has come out into the open and you can see glimpses of what Islam is really like, by listening to Bin Laden's statements and others like him. It is violent, intolerant, repressive and if you're not of the Islamic faith you are to be killed. It states that right in their Koran. The Koran also states that it is alright to lie to the "infidels" to achieve their goals. But what do you hear from the mainstream media about Islam? That it is a religion of love, peace and tolerance, it couldn't be farther from the truth. And yet, Christians are being portrayed as the villians and haters of this world and are being persucuted throughout the world because of ant-Christian propaganda. I seriously doubt that Congress will act upon this because there's no benefit to them to do so. I hope I'm wrong. The best thing for these people is some serious prayer and lots of it. That's why it's important to contact as many people as possible and have them seek God's face in prayer and let God have the controls and let his will be done.

I some how doubt the U.N. would exsist if it was not for the money that the U.N. gets from the hard working American Taxpayers. The U.N. machine only seems to care about power and bringing the world into the one-world government. They have made leaps and bounds tword that goal in this past year.

I agree with you on just about every point. However PERHAPS with enough pressure congress and the UN will be forced to respond. It remains to be seen if the world will care.Prayer will produce miracles. If anyone would like to help Christians that are persecuted and murdered in areas such as the Sudan or Indonesia then go to www.persecution.org
