They are the civil rights equivalents of undercover agents. Carefully trained but armed only with false identities, they set out on the day's mission: rooting out racism at a grimy apartment building in North Hills.

LOL, you wouldn't believe the horrible, horrible things I have been forced to hear about Dominicans. Who have I heard all of these terrible things from? Puerto Ricans.
That was a real eye-opener for me, too. When I moved to New York from Ohio, my thinking was "Hmm...Puerto Rico, Domincan Republic--two Spanish-speaking islands in the Carribean, what's the difference?" Well, ask that question of either group, and they'll be delighted to tell you. In detail.
Exactly. Go to a predominately liberal board, mention the multitudinous "hate crimes" of pan-africanists (i.e. Black Nazis) in Zimbabwe and S. Africa against white farmers and you'll go deaf from the cries of indignation and "wwahhh, what about apartheid!". I'm freaking sick of this double standard and I'm sick of the media only reporting discrimination and racism when whites are the perpetrators...thusly giving an inaccurate stereotype of whites in general.
Where is here? (It's not often you can say that and be considered sane)
Also, I lived in Miami during the early '80s and I was a victim of age discrimination.
I was looking for an apartment and I found one that was quiet and isolated only the Cuban manager didn't want to rent to me because most of the people there were elderly and they wanted their peace and quiet.
So I kept looking and I found another one. Behind the Playboy Club.
Believe it or not, it was quiet too.
That's true, but I think we should attempt some perspective.
There's a line from "Casablanca" where Humphrey Bogart tells Major Strasser that "there are certain neighborhoods (in New York) where I wouldn't advise you to go".
I think our American way of life is very strong. It will take a lot for me to believe that we should abandon it. I think recent immigrants have a very good chance of being absorbed, regardless of the present problems - and PC stupidity.
I had the same thing happen at a local laundrymat a couple of years ago after it was bought-out by blacks. The young black woman at the counter looked right past me to ask the black woman standing in line behind me,"Can I help you?". When I complained, she ignored me. I started raising enough hell that she had no choice but to notice me and give me the change I needed for the machines. Some of the black men in there gave me some nasty looks for calling the woman behind the counter a "bitch",but nobody said anything. I fully expected to have to shoot one or more of them when I left, but nobody was waiting for me in the parking lot.
This laundromat was right at the edge of the traditional "black areas" and the "white areas". I had been washing clothes there off and on since the 1970's and never seen anybody of any race have any problems before the blacks bought it out. I haven't been back since this happened.
My original comment was concerning the FBI's method of tracking hate crimes - hispanic is a victim category but not a perpetrator category. If a hispanic commits a 'hate-crime' they are counted as white. This method skews the numbers to make it appear that whites are commit these crimes in much higher numbers than reality would suggest.
So the term "reverse discrimination" has been registered by the USSC, and is not subject to any further interpretation?
Yes, grammar was spelled incorrectly, nice of you to notice. Award yourself a shiny gold star for your astute observation.
