Hi palo, sounds like you had a trauma-free Thanksiving this year. That's great.
To: palo verde
Damn, you're gonna pop those linguini straps! Hope you guys had the very best of times - glad to know that you're home safely. There's not any place in this world like home. ;-)

Boating and booze are naturals, so i'm really disappointed in you.I expected such a higher standard from our Freeople snowbird...you've let down the side..LOL
To: grannie9
grannie - you were good today when you didn't mean to be? Poor thing!
To: palo verde
Did you invite Harry for a kosher chicken and photon awakening? If Helen's game, he should be too ;-)Ask Helen if she had the left or the right wing off the bird, this year? LOL

Hi Val
thanks
yes, it was peaceful and pleasant
I hope this holiday season will be pleasant and nice for all of us
I think it's a good omen that thanksgiving was happy
(instead of the other way around)
Love, Palo

Where's the bird, val?? I want to see the right wing drumstick..

palo, I think Grannie had trauma this year. What horrible trauma, too - boating down the canals of Florida on a beautiful day with a picnic and NO BOOZE! Whenever your life gets you down, remember it could be worse - just think about how awful it is for pitiful Grannie.

I got sunburned, and also drove the boat for miles.. I hate to relinquish the wheel now. lol Some of the wakes we were hiting were pretty big, but the river was calm. We probably put in twenty miles today.

I'm on my folk's 'puter.
I'm not looking forward to the drive back. It took 9 hours to drive 375 miles. The first 25 alone took 1-1/2 hours. With just a thin cresent moon lost in the clouds and stopping at noncustomary places, and detours construction and and confusing signs (I got on the freeway the wrong way TWICE). At least the kids fell asleep, and I was able to listen to Harry Potter tapes uninterupted...
To: lodwick
hi sweetie pie
I'm happy to be home and back with all of you
it was a nice interlude in my life
but I don't want to do it again for another year lol
I had a nice time tho
Love, Palo

We had an 18 lb turkey, habs, so most of it was on the counter, while just a tray of sliced turkey meat is on the table with the stuffing, m. potatoes, gravy, cranberry jelly (Mo's fav! *L*) green beans with bacon (not kosher), crescent rolls, devilled eggs and olives. That was enough for just the 4 of us. I forgot to put the Jell-o salad out. *L* No sweet potatoes because we won't eat them, but we have a sweet potato pie - it's not too bad. It sounded southern to me.

9 HOURS! You shoulda roller-skated - it might have been faster. I'll add "staying home for Thanksgiving" to my list of things to be thankful for today.
To: ValerieUSA
I was soooo good today, that I can feel a Halo starting to grow on my head.. It is definately not my style. I do like the bit of netting in the front tho...

And a sunburn, too! And big bad wakes! Poor poor grannie. *LOL* Have another drink, dear. (Can't have my wine, it's all gone now.)
To: grannie9
Netting in the front - hmmmm..... sounds like the kind of halos they wear at speakeasies. What's the password?
To: grannie9
Hi Gran. Happy Thanksgiving FReeoples. I can't stay, just wanted to wish everyone well. See you guys later. Hugs. :)
To: ValerieUSA
LOL! For parts of it WALKING would have been faster.
At least I didn't have to go through airport security...
