As opposed to the more subtle but no less dangerous form of RINO-type nanny government?

As if Libertarians did not have liberal policies such as allowing people to abuse drugs and returning to an anarchist medieval time of a state incapable of doing its protection.

BY all means, I am not a statist, I believe strong state coupled with strong individual governance is good. Libertarians are like liberals, they want America to be weaker. One is for weak individual power, the other for weak state power, same difference to me.

Not medieval, early 19th century. As long as it isn't tax-payer supported, I have no problem with self-abuse.

Typical oxymornic statements from a Bush booster. A strong state is the antithesis of self governance.

The Libertarians want strong Americans, thinking that this insures a strong America.

Nukes abroad, troops at home!

First, no one advocates abusing drugs, quite the opposite. As far as 'allowing' people the choice to abuse anything, the government doesn't have the power to grant or deny those actions. Drugs are illegal now, yet there is rampant abuse.

returning to an anarchist medieval time of a state incapable of doing its protection.

I wasn't aware that the US was ever anarchist or "medieval". Ever. Hard to return to what has never been. If you would have said that the libertarians believe in returning to the Constitutional methods of 200 years ago, I'd agree.

One is for weak individual power, the other for weak state power, same difference to me.One, when you say things like "Libertarians are like liberals", you've got to know that you ar being inflammatory and if you insist on giving poke in the eye, you'll end up getting a few in return!

Second, I have to question your "One is for weak individual power, the other for weak state power, same difference to me" statement. You really cannot/do not differentiate between the two? At what point do you draw the line with governmental powers? The Libertarian veiw point is readily accessible and in print for all to see. what is your line in the sand. What akes you so sure that you aren't really a Statist? CJ has already confessed to me that he is. The first time I've ever believed that he was being honest.
