It doesn't have anything to do with the Internet. It has everything to do with the fact that this guy has a good understanding of how to operate the AOL customer list.

These folks probably have every address in the United States.

This particular executive may well have been carrying around a copy of it in compacted form on CDs.

With that list in hand the terrorists not only would know every address in America, they would have avoided hundreds of thousands of dollars in mailing list rental costs.

Then, with that biologist to "fine tune" stuff, they'd be ready to launch another attack - through the mail where they know we are unprepared to detect such an attack until it is too late!
