Maybe the DNC would like to advertise here for $1 million a year, and they would get useful feedback at no extra charge.
I haven't read all of this thread but I have read a portion of it. Free Republic is absolutely necessary...especially now! I saw your numbers. Although, I don't particularly like advertising...it is a good way to raise some the funds that are necessary to keep this site going. Our target group has a value. Why not utilize it? Is that possible? summer has a great idea. Banner ads on every post, reply, preview, profile page etc. It must be working for these web sites that are offering free space.
I don't think ads are a good idea. I hate getting on a website, and being deluged with ADS, OFFERS. Then the cookies your system has to eat !
Keep that brain thinking, you may come up with a better suggestion.
