Would it not be better advised to confront Mauser in a public forum, rather than taking it in front of his home? I understand your feelings, I just think it would play better in the press. Otherwise he's the martyr and we're 'extremists'.

In the '40's and '50's moderate civil rights organizations like the NAACP made slow or no progress toward acheaving their goals. Then in the '60's, organizations like the Black Panthers and SNNC (not equating the two, but they were much more aggressive and in your face) made Martin Luther King look much more reasonable to the powers that be. The TRT can perform this service for the NRA.
Mauser has chosen to bandage his wounds with the shreded bits of my liberty. He is no more justified than would be a crime victim calling for stripping anyone who looked like or shared a religion with his mugger, of rights. His loss does not give him leave to try to oppress me. Nor to try to hang the death of his son around the collective neck of gun owners.
