In any event, who cares what some raghead mulla says, on FoxNews, CNN, or Wayne'N'Garth's Cable-Access-News? They're all Pod People/Cultists, so they have to think that way. It goes with the territory. Mormons, Scientologists, Jehovah's Witnesses and a whole host of other groups are the same; there's just not as many of them on the planet. (Not to imply that Mormons and Scientologists ever fly planes into buildings, or anything like that -- they just have similar attitudes regarding the relative Salvation Potential of Cult Members and Non-Members: 100% to 0%.)

Although I have to say antiwar.com is a really good site for international news. (Sometimes you have to ignore the headlines that link to the articles, they've gotten kind of crazy, lately.) And both sites have consistently interesting, articulate and expressive editorial writers. They're not all waving the stars and bars but there is some of that, there--mostly on lr.com.

Mullah Omar, coincidentally, makes a bold statement to his followers not to give up, and the Taliban is surprisingly energized...after our Dem. leaders in DC make it clear to the world that they will NOT stand united with our President and our war on terrorism.
So, Daschle nixes our chance of moving toward energy independence, OPEC makes sure the prices drop thus almost clinching our dependence, Daschle instead announces that the Senate will be investigating AG Ashcroft and Microsoft, the Taliban's re-energized, an independent group releases a report stating that we are in a recession the day after the stock market almost breaks 10,000, Anderson pulls out of Enron, combined with no hope of the Senate passing an energy bill destroys Enrons' very real potential. The stock market drops further on the news. The Dems. deceitfully blame the economy on President Bush, the Republicans and the tax cut. Such was the previous week in history...the left, instead of helping to unite the nation during a time of crisis, choose to aid our enemies.
How long will it take before the Democrats help to completely destroy the American oil industry and finally attain their goal of federalizing the industry?
Sorry about the rant, what Daschle did this week was the most anti-American act of his long and sorry career, IMHO.

When the U.S. Department used to keep a list of subversive organizations, the ACLU was right up there with the Communist Party USA, Weather Underground and a whole list of organizations I can't remember any longer. At that time the ACLU was considered the "legal arm of the CPUSA." IMHO, it is still to be villified and rejected at every possible opportunity. Anything in which the ACLU is involved is to be regarded as harmful to our liberties.
ALWAYS REMEMBER. Liberties are NOT civil, liberties are GOD-given. Anything which is given by the government, i.e., civil liberties, can be taken by the government. Liberties bestowed upon us by God cannot be taken away.
In the old USSR and in the UN Charter, we the people are given liberties, i.e., freedom of worship, etc. UNTIL the government decides otherwise. READ them carefully.
The first three words in ACLU's very name, American Civil Liberties, are lies! There is no such thing as civil liberties and, if there were, they wouldn't be American. Visualize the ACLU, in future, as the "communist civil liberties union."
Back to the subject at hand, however, Dr. Robert A. Morey was interviewed by Dr. Stanley Monteith about a month ago and I heard that program. Dr. Morey spoke of Mohammed and how he raped and murdered those he conquered in the name of his god, Allah. Allah cannot be the same as our Judeo-Christian God (or G-d, as my Rabbi friend spells it) because he is a god of hate.
In both Christianity and Islam there are choices. In Christianity, one can accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior or not. If he rejects Christ, he is free of reprisal. In Islam, however, if one does NOT accept Allah, he loses his life! There is no freedom in Islam.
