Bearded Asian called bin Laden, starts crying
AN Asian only known as Shurez, broke down in tears after a vendor called him Bin Laden.
Shurez who appears to be in his early 40s was moving down to the Old Taxi Park and knocked a hawkers stock of hand towels, socks and handkerchiefs, on Luwum Street.
Shurez who had a long beard was not apologetic but instead accused the hawker of blocking the way. The vendor, called Kasule, in great anger insulted Shurez and said he was not different from Bin Laden, by appearance and in deeds.
Kirabe, kiringa Bin Laden, (look at him, he is like Bin Laden).
Everyone around broke out into a bout of laughter chanting and jeering, Bin Laden, Bin Laden.
Shurez was so humiliated that he broke into tears while everyone around continued laughing and jeering.
Kasule, surprisingly, got sympathetic with Shurez for the humiliation he had suffered. He took him by the hand and consoled him.
The two reconciled and Shurez even bought a handkerchief from the hawker to wipe his tears away and they even shook hands.
Shurez, an employee of a pharmacy on Burton Street gave Kasule his business card and invited him for a cup of coffee.
He went away smiling but the rest of the people were not amused and accused Kasule of reconciling with Bin Laden.
if America refused to reconcile with Bin Laden, who are you to reconcile with him? one man asked kasule. What was amazing was that Kasule said that he rarely reconciles and that he in fact could not even remember the last time he had done so.
He even wondered what drove him to reconcile with someone he had called Bin Laden and moreover one who had offended him.

Idiots!
What a transparent hit piece. A "man on the street" call for reconciliation.
It would have been better to just put "Can't we all just get along?" all by itself.
Is Carole Simpson back in her chair?
