You are so right. We have fallen asleep...while our children are killed.
The Lord's heart certainly breaks as He watches this. I'm at a loss for words.
No, it's not up to me...but that doesn't mean the American people have to subsidize those births with welfare money. Fortunately, it's up to the Constitution, strictly constructed, meaning no general welfare clause or interstate commerce clause shennanigans, that welfare programs shouldn't exist. Makes the situation nicely. Thank God for limited government and the Tenth Amendment!
The people who do this are the same ones who cry big crocodile tears when enemy terrorists are killed by our forces and when criminals are executed for their crimes. Talk about the ultimate in hypocrisy. They are truly sick bastards.
When a baby is horribly disfigured and/or badly retarded they whisk the baby away after birth without letting the mother see it, then lay it aside to die knowing that babies that are that bad usually die within an hour. They tell the mother it was a still birth. Sometimes the baby refuses to die. When that happens they ship it to a sanitorium and warehouse it there untill it dies at some point in the future.
Cruel and inhuman indeed, but meant to save the mother the grief of having to see such an ugly sight on what should be the happiest day of her life. I imagine ultrasounds and the recent practice of letting the mother hold the still birth have thrown a curve to this whole practice but I'm sure it still goes on.
Here's one from the Divine Mercy:
Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity, of your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins, and those of the whole world. For the sake of his sorrowful passion--have mercy on us and on the whole world!
No, it means that at the heart of medicine and law in America is an hypocrisy so vile that to prosecute a woman that kills her neonate is a double standard since the doctors are allowed to do it at their whim if in a hospital setting. Once the liberal puke-faced judges commit such atrocious duplicity as to condemn a woman for these vile acts you mention yet ignore 'for societal engineering purposes' the 'doctors' who do the same and worse, the judicial process is a farce. This is the demonic harvest predicted by some when Roe v Wade was decided as it was by the leftists bastards that sat that unconstitutional court in 1973, may they rot in Hell, those that wrote in support/concurrence with the sick excuse for a chief justice.
I am the grandmother of a Down's boy, and he is in no way handicapped, or disabled. He is now 4 years old and very bright, because we do not treat him as if he has a problem, we expect him to learn and to be the best he can be, just like any other child. He is the light of my life and "IF" I could I would not reverse the situation. I was belssed with a son who died at age 24 after 8 years and 8 brain tumor operations. He too was bright, and "IF" I could I would not bring him back, but our Lord blessed us with this little grandson to fill the void. When he was born I told his parents how bless they were to be chosen by our Lord to take care of HIS little soul, that HE gave them this boy because HE knew they could handle the job, they were hand picked.
I never look at people with disablilties as being a problem, only opportunities for me to learn from them and serve.
Downs Syndrome is not a disablity, we are blessed for their being alive.
