I found myself dashing back into the dining room to get a menu for him to sign.

Wonderful story. Thanks for posting it. I think the President does things like for two reasons. First of all, he really likes people and sees the best in them. Second I think he must get very tired of being with politicians and 'yes men' all the time. Doing things like this puts him in contact with real people if even for a few minuts.
This story and the one the other day of him running back to salute the Marine guard show just very lucky we are to have this man as our President.

Yes, here is a President that is comfortable with who he is and doesn't look down on people. Now, x42 would have had to have photographers capture every moment of his encounter with the "common folk".
On a side note, the President needs to have more of the Town Halls like yesterday, he was great!

SALON?!!
I can't believe this was in Salon.
I mean, isn't there a Jake Tapper counter-article or something?
Well, Jeezuz and I'll be damned!
Okay, I know Salon has been delisted, but does anyone have any guess about what their stock price is today?
Be Seeing You,
Chris

"You know, every time I think I am as impressed as I can possibly be with George W. Bush, I read something about him that impresses me even more! He is so real!!!" OWF - You are so right! President Bush never fails to impress and surprise me. He is just sooo amazing.
We are truly blessed to have him and First Lady Laura leading America right now.
This is a great article. I can't believe it's from Salon.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see alot of articles like this and a lot of interviews like the one on 20/20 tonight. I think alot of support for the President will be coming from unexpected sources in the media. They all want to join in on the "Luvya W" bandwagon. LOL. But it makes since 'cause President Bush is a wonderful man.

And to think we were so close to having that pretentious, elitist, know-it-all jerk, Al Bore as President....Phew.

BTTT.
Dubya-- man of the people.

I don't know, it seems to me to be an attempt to get you to read a trash piece by wrapping it in sentiment. The writer goes on and on about how they treated him in security, then he comments about the O'douls that president ordered, all the references of him being a Christian, like he's some sort of oddball, then he's "worse than Clinton"? Please!
The article bothers me. I didn't like it. Am I alone?
