Man, nothing makes me more irritated than public policy based more on emotional reaction to isolated incidents than by actual rational analysis.
That would be Texas State Rep. Suzanna Gratia-Hupp whom at the time of the "Luby's Shooting Rampage" was a Chiropractor having lunch with Her Parents and witnessed them both killed (as well as, if I recall correctly) 57 others right in front of Her. She left Her pistol in the car for fear of losing Her Chiroprators Liscence.
