Don't have time to look back into old reports as I scan perhaps a hundred a day. Rummy mentioned the existance of Chechnian and Chinese forces in the mix around Konduz. The other articles stated that the Chinese troops were Muslims from the western muslim area of China. They were probably there as free lance Taliban supporters rather than a deliberate Chinese Red action against the USA. But the Reds are totally against us, seeing us as the future enemy. We ought to boycott Chinese goods, especially at Christmas. It is unrealistic to see the Chinese cooperating with us in anti-terrorism. Has the downed spy plane already been forgotten. They are the future enemy. They are about as trustworthy as the Russians long range or the Saudis. The best to expect is short term joint interests. For Chinese/Russian capabilities and goals, turn to www.cheniere.org and read the comments by a bona-fide physics expert on their enmity and superior Electromagnetic weapons. Especially Quantum force weapons. Tom Beardon is a patriot and an expert as you will discover in his correspondence pages. Check out that site for a rude awakening from a weapons expert and a physics genius and see how our scientists in their arrogance have fallen behind the Reds in using 75 year old Tesla discoveries. Also check the Brojon site for more info by a smart man on similar subjects. Not as good as Beardon but pretty keen insight.

The Chinese fighting for the Taliban were muslim volunteers, not Chinese troops A big question is, of course, if the ChiComs really has full control over all the troops. If some of the troops and/or their commanders are muslims.

According to sources in Islamabad, Musharraf advised the CIA director to go to Kabul himself and verify the information firsthand. They report that Tenet took this advice and paid a secret visit to the Afghan capital Sunday, Dec. 2, under the protection of U.S. and Russian special forces units. And here is another lie. According to CNN, Tenet accompanied the body of Johnny Micheal Spann from Germany to Dover Air Force base on December 2nd. Why would ANYONE believe Debka any more?

A big question is, of course, if the ChiComs really has full control over all the troops. If some of the troops and/or their commanders are muslims.Hey, if you want to believe Debka, go ahead. But I've already caught them in THREE lies in this particular story - that journalists were not allowed near Tora Bora (Geraldo is already there), that there is a winter storm raging in parts of Afghanistan (there isn't), and that Tenet went to a secret meeting in Kabul on December 2nd (he didn't, he was flying with the body of Johnny Micheal Spann from Germany to Andrews AFB). Three lies in one story, easily refuted with a few searches on the Internet. Do you still consider Debka to be credible?

Hey, tigerclaw - I agree I have no intelligence training - but I've caught Debka in three lies in this story through simple internet searches. If a rank amatuer can unearth Debka's lies, then what does that say about THEM?

A big question is, of course, if the ChiComs really has full control over all the troops.Debka claimed that China had shipped 3,000 troops overland to Afghanistan - but the Northern Alliance controlled the overland route. And Rummy mentioned a few mercinaries, not thousands of Chinese troops. More Debka-ka.

I think they mean reinforced carbon-carbon, the stuff used on the Space Shuttle's heat-resistant tiles.

They came up with a description of dark-colored, cone-shaped, ultra-heavy containers, about 4 feet long, which they were given to understand were radioactive. And how would such a device be gotten into this country? If it was a dirty bomb, then I'm not so sure this is what it would look like. If it's a true nuclear device, then it would have to be sophisticated enough to go through a detonation process of some sort and it would have to be delivered.

Don't look at me, I'm not a DEBKAite.

NOW GET READY FOR ALL THE ANTI-DEBKA EXPERTS . . . . . . I WONDER WHERE ALL THESE DETRACTERS AND SELF PROCLAIMED INTELLIGENCE EXPERTS GOT THEIR INTELLIGENCE TRAINING? AND HOW MANY OF THE BLOOD-THIRSTY COUCH-BOUND WARRIORS WE SEE ON FREE REPUBLIC, EVER SERVED A LICK IN THE ARMED FORCES. IF YOU CITE YOUR OPINIONS MAYBE YOU OUGHT TO CITE YOUR BACKGROUND AND WHAT MAKES YOU AN EXPERT . . .
WE SURE HAVE A LOT OF ARMCHAIR QUARTERBACKS AMONG FREEPERS. GENERALLY I FIND MOST OF THE COMMENTS QUITE REFRESHING AND INTELLIGENT. THEN THERE ARE THE OTHERS. IT MUST BE WONDERFUL TO BE SO SMART AND RIGHT ON EVERYTHING.
Gee, Tiger, you know soooo much about us freepers and you've only been a member since . . . golly . . . two days ago? Wow! You're really smart!

"In Afghanistan, the U.S. military -- combing through the Tora Bora mountain cave complex 300 miles northeast of Kandahar for Osama bin Laden, his top lieutenant, Ayman al-Zawahiri, and 1,000 al-Qaida fighters..." Aw, gee whiz. I thought Ayman al-Zawahiri was dead. That was reported yesterday, n'est ce pas?
