December 7, 2001 -- SO they finally got around to testing the DNA of one of the victims of the Boston Strangler and discovered what I've been saying all along - Albert DeSalvo was innocent.

It's been 36 years since Mary Sullivan, the last of the Strangler's victims, was found murdered, 35 years since DeSalvo confessed - and two years since Boston cops reopened the miscarriage of justice they call this case.

Do you know that DNA material degrades and can be comtaminated over time?

So, maybe this one victim out of all of them he didn't do. Why is this so conclusive?

Another fine example of Boston police work. Just like the Boston office of the FBI was in bed with the Irish mafia. Just like the retired FBI agent who bragged to a Congressional hearing about putting an innocent man behind bars and openly taunted them about it.

I remember vaguely hearing something about this, years ago. I just wonder what happened to the Nasser guy?

He died years ago (Nasser). I also have no doubt Nasser was the killer. There was more evidence that he was the killer but the article doesn't indicate and I forget all the details.

Do you know how transparent your attempts to provide cover for Democrats implicated in wrongdoing have become?

If you had any integrity at all, you'd have left FR last year as you promised.

There seems to be what a left wing T/V host called a "mind set" afoot these days. All the naysayers have to do is find something connected with a case that is Not the DNA. I know that if the authorities were diligent, only too obviously this tragic man did something and was involved in horrible crimes.

In Canada a poor young woman was strangled at her job at an all night coffee shop. A man was convicted. How does it now read? Innocent they say, well maybe he was- I dont know. Heres how the proof was offered. A pair of gloves was found near the crime scene. The hysterical shout went up ie: Was this his DNA? It was not, therefore he is "innocent"- I note wryly that here in my own city many, many miles away two years ago, I lost a glove. Fortunately, no crime was committed at the plaza where I lost it- one could imagine how a scream could have been raised- had a crime been committed in the area and my glove was found. All the naysayers have to do is find a different DNA and it(DNA) is all over the place- anybody can leave it there.

Albert DeSalvo is sent to prison as the "Boston Strangler" after he confesses to the crimes. And yet we are supposed to criticize the Boston P.D. for shoddy police work?

Do you know how transparent your attempts to provide cover for Republicans (i.e., Lazio buying and selling stock options in companies he is regulating while on the House Banking Committee) implicated in wrongdoing have become?

If you had any integrity at all, you'd have left FR last year as you promised.

I "sin" once in a while.

Not a lie, see Lazio's financial disclosures.

BTW - That's why Lazio never was allowed to give a speech at the Republican Convention, which probably cost Bush over 2,000,000 votes and 3 to 4 seats in the Senate.

That's why Bush hasn't given Lazio a position in his administration.

Yeah, George Nasser was one of DeSalvo's friends in prison. I don't remember all the evidence against him, but I do know that one of the witnesses was taken up by police to the prison to identify DeSalvo as the Boston Strangler, but to their consternation she instead fingered Nasser.

Huh? That's a pretty big stretch, buddy. Yeah, and I think he coulda got more votes and 10 more Senate seats if he had called for an NCAA Division 1 Football playoff system.

Ring, ring, ring, ring goes the alarm clock.

The opponent of Hillary, by energizing the Republican workers and galvanizing the anti-Clinton voters, was worth upwards of 2,000,000 votes to the Bush campaign.

Of course, that's assuming there wasn't a backroom deal between familias Clinton and Bush to overlook the huge amounts of Democrat vote fraud in order to give Hillary effective control of the Senate.
