They just had a machine gun rally out here in Albany, OR (just south of Portland) last week. Unfortunately I was unable to go.

Portland police arrested recently!
Honestly, when a machine gun shoot can be held within 100 miles of Portland, OR
(and not be on a ship!), there is hope for the republic!

I wrote both my senators about this and told them that my 68 y/o mom had a M-1 that my now deceased dad gave her and I doubted she or the rest of the family would allow the goverment to confiscate it. And that I did not believe the Founding Fathers would think it a good idea for the standing army to try and disarm WE The People.

Oh yeah. Hype or not, I believed it. I wouldn't put it past the government for a second to pull a lousy stunt like this. How many stupid moronic laws have been passed? There's nothing far-fetched about the demilitarization bill.
