I would have to say that the most polite city I have ever been in is New Orleans. I just loved the people there, they were polite and charming.

The 'Big Easy' is polite, but it is a cesspool of moral and political corruption, and is filthy to boot. At least, since the recent reform, the local cops are less likely to be hired killers than in the recent past.

I gotta go to New Orleans. The only drawback, is that I'll probably spend the rest of my life partying down there and never come back. Maybe that's not a drawback....
