Every once in a while, an article is written that is an outstanding piece of truth and a beacon of hope. I believe this is just such an article. It is a little long, but well worth the read!

Individual liberty without a sense of national duty creates only anarchy, and national duty without the protected sphere of individual liberty creates only tyranny.

This article is true, every word of it. Our proud country has been plucked bare by the enemies within it.

Pray for America. Pray like you've never prayed before.

Like the foreign fanatic, the domestic haters use our own institutions to undermine us, and use the compassion of the American heart to promote our destruction.

Gramsci describes this as "seizing the levers of power." Our schools, our universities, the bureaucracies within our churches and seminaries, media, the entertainment industry, and government, are some of the leading and shaping institutions that are now virtually wholly-owned subsidiaries of leftist revolutionaries. These people have a virtual monopoly over information and control, and they use their power enthusiastically to forward their agenda, one important element of which--as this article points out--is hatred of America and the values it represents.

"But an ailing economy is not the most serious malady afflicting America. In many elite opinion makers, media patricians, and the academic aristocracy, there has evolved a loathing of this country that parades as sophistication, and a hostility to both economic freedom and individual liberty."

Everynothing has changed; simply postponed.
Daring to turn one's back on the Liberal & only invites...no, begs for a knife to the back; period.

...& there's an entire generation of test-tube socially engineered people out there, eh?

I don't disagree with the article but then I don't wholly agree with it either. If we look at the success of America it is surely do to freedom and an exuberant work ethic. An abbundance of raw materials didn't hurt either. We're really just transplanted europeans after all. Genetically there is certainly no difference. The keys to our prosperity are unbridled capitalism, our constitution, our 'newness' and a strong religious morality.

I really don't think the 'America Haters' are all that much of a problem. They are an elite few really that do not have the power to dampen even raw capitalism, let alone patriotism and religious reverence for the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. The America Haters are a symptom not a cause.

The cause is widespread societal decadence. That is why I have been saying all along that this new found patriotism is as wide as an ocean ... and as deep as a puddle. You cannot fix a society with a fifty percent divorce rate (and that does not take into account everybody's multiple marriages), an astronmical illegitimate birth rate, and the wholesale death of real, heartfelt and effective religious worship.

Pointing the finger at the vocal few who preach hatred of America will do nothing to change things. Societal decadence has been seen in this nation before and it only lowers its malevolent head at the blast of World War or economic collapse. Or both.

I agree that the above is a symptom of an overall illness, but to the degree that a symptom of a disease can be filling the lungs with fluid and drowning the victim. It's a biggy as far as I can see when the hate America first, self loathing crowd, exibits the, "I am ready to die someone come euthenize me", symptom. It indicates to me that they must be fought off even with a fever, the heat of which should be felt by them in withering hot condemnation from the healthy members of the body.

We see the American flag taken down and the Pledge of Allegiance banned in some schools because they might offend a foreign student, a guest in this country who demands that his hosts accommodate his sensitivities. What about the sensitivities -- the rights -- of the citizens of the nation whose generosity he is taking full advantage of?

BUMP!

We wait in vain.

This small sentence is the most powerful in the article. We wait in vain. The leftist will never admit they are wrong. They will continue to steal elections they cannot win. They will continue to use "diversity" to keep us divided. They will continue to use "tolerance" to silence us. Pray for America.

Endeavor to defeat your pessimism! "Waiting" is, indeed, in vain. Rather, take your cue from mercy and MissAmericanPie: stand up to America's enemies. There are signs everywhere that healthy, spontaneous acts of patriotic activism are having a devastating effect on the lefties and severely compromising their control of our beloved institutions. This is no time to go all mushy with despair.

If you still doubt, take a look at the thread about the New York Times' snitfit over the lack of leaks at the White House. One of the biggest gorillas of the left is frantic because they have lost significant control over the national dialogue!

And what about the Kensington Revolt? The lefties know that we can and will take back our culture, and they are having a conniption!

Buck up, troops. The sun is just dawning on our side of the mountain. Daylight is coming.
