Hillary: I've Gotten Used to Being Booed

Since launching her bid to become New York's senator, Hillary Clinton says she's been booed by crowds so many times that she's now gotten used to it.

Asked about an incident where she was booed off the stage at Paul McCartney's Oct. 20 concert to honor firefighters and police killed in the Twin Tower attacks, Mrs. Clinton told the New York Times Sunday Magazine, "I've gotten used to being in situations in political life, either vicariously or on my own, where that just happens sometimes."

Clinton described the humiliating heckling episode as "part of the healing process" in the wake of the World Trade Center attack.

"(The firefighters and cops) can blow off steam any way they want to," she added. "They've earned it."

The former first lady has also been publicly booed at New York City's St. Patrick's and Israeli Day parades as well as at her own New Year's Eve Millenium celebration on Washington's Mall.

Clinton campaign biographer Beth Harpaz, author of the book, "The Girls on the Van," recently told Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly that Sen. Clinton hasn't attended any funerals for constituents killed in the 9/11 attacks because she's afraid she'll be booed.

And while she wasn't heckled or jeered during her first visit to Ground Zero on Sept. 14, one on-the-scene source told NewsMax.com that firemen and cops refused to shake her hand.

The Times profile also revealed that Mrs. Clinton's obnoxious eye-rolling during President Bush's address to Congress just days after the 9/11 attacks was more typical than previously known.

"Her aides insisted it had nothing to do with the president," reported Timesman Frank Bruni.

"But when I later saw her at a Senate budget committee hearing, she silently and reflexively shook her head and rolled her eyes almost every time one of the economists who were testifying mentioned Bush's tax cut."

I'll just make sure I'll be tipping back lots O' Guinness before hand.

Booing Hillary will make my year. Especially if that "Catholic[in name only]" Andrew Cuomo Kennedy is in the parade as well. I hate that guy even more.

I'll be in NYC on vacation for St. Paddy's Day. I hadn't thought of the added attraction of maybe getting the opportunity to boo Hillary.

The Beast will not dare show her fat ass in the St. Patty's Day Parade.

I'd better start warming up the ol' booing chords now, just in case. And as you suggest, I'll make sure to have lots of Guinness as a voice lubricant beforehand. :)

Those firefighters weren't heckling, they were venting their disgust for Hillary.

And she knows it. God bless the NY Police and Firemen

Yeah, sure, Hillary-babes. We sure believe you, yep!

Of course she was booed several times by the good people of New York just before they elected her as their U.S. senator. Go figure!

She thinks we are dumb we know why she ran for New York to get their electoral votes that's the only reason why she picked NY.

This nutcase bundled up and fueled by a need for power and flat out greed cannot begin to understand how much absolute revulsion exists for her outside her nest of supportive vipers. She is used to being booed? Bet not. She goes out of her way to avoid it, and for the rest of her life she will have to pick and choose accordingly upon what events she will appear. She is not free because she has woven a web of deceit and outright cruelty, which has become huge overtime. Guess good character does matter, and like her husband, she is personally unacquainted with this quality. Therefore, when she is confronted with genuinely good people, she cannot avoid showing her own revulsion.

She believes with her whole heart that with the right media contacts (she must have whooped heartily upon learning that katie colic would be around for years to come-her personal cover-up and gloss-over agent) and enough money, she can continue to fool the stupid masses, endlessly. I really don't think she is able to do this anymore-like oinksama-this pig has to hide.

Hillary's IS not a strong woman. She goes to pieces privately over the smallest things. You'll see that if you read some of Woodward's books or Stephanpoopolus' book.

That and NY loves celebrities, and it is also one of the most liberal states in the union.

Now why didn't she run in Michigan(Against Spence Abraham), Florida(Open seat) or Penn(Against Santorum)? Those are bigger states when it comes to the presidency since they swing.

Dems almost always win NY. Spence and Santorum were struggling and would be in trouble against a strong candidate. Santorum survived, and Spence choked against my former congresscritter Debbie Stabenow.(Stabusall)

I think maybe because Hillary wouldn't sell outside Philly. In my state, conservative democrat areas Macomb and Monroe Counties would ride Hillary out of town just like a Lions Quarterback, and that's not counting all the regular GOP votes in West MI and Livingston County.

I can't wait until it is 'her turn' to run. It's win-win no matter if she wins or loses the primary.
