I think that characterization you make (Walker et al) is a bit much...but I'd like to point out that the pro-Israel situation you describe cannot last forever. The "appropriate parties" involved have a historical record of pushing too far too soon (I cite Egypt, England, Spain, Eastern Europe, Germany), and that will spark a rebellion.
