Are you being intentionally dense???.....I am saying and any child could understand it that Israel is our friend and on top of that it is in OUR best interest(America first...ring a bell?) to help defend her and in so doing keep the region as stable as possible.
When you show how the current policy is in OUR best interest, then I'll agree with you. Remember, Israel has interests that may overlap but not exactly the same as American ones. Your simplistic "do what they ask us" isn't exactly right.
