A few of those made me ill.

Good post, Apollo. Must have been hard to narrow the field to ten, but I think the author did a good job.

Here's a Clinton quote that should make Americans even more ill.
"We want to become a multiracial, multiethnic society...this will arguably be the third great revolution .... to prove that we literally can live without ... having a dominant European culture."
Pat Buchanan, to his credit, replied to Clinton with this:
"For the first 180 years of her existence, America's greatest men strove with all their powers to resist what Clinton embraces and to maintain what Clinton wishes to terminate: a "dominant European culture" of the United States."

To get the full nauseating effect, you should quote the statements in their entirety. :
"I experimented with marijuana a time or two. And I didn't like it, and didn't inhale, and never tried it again."
"I am going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky."
"It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If the - if he - if 'is' means is and never has been, that is not - that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement."

Here's another curious one, cited by Barbara Olson in "The Final Days" (p. 208). I'll include her comment first:
The Clintons never believed that normal standards of behavior applied to them. As Bill Clinton said, "You know, you can make too much of normalcy. A lot of normal people are a**holes."

The "vast-right-wing" thing told me all I needed to know about these people. If any Repulican official would have said that, I would not have voted for he/she again. Just because of how silly it is. Whats worse though... is that I heard so many people copying her like it was for real or something. Of course, I come from Minnesota so I have a lot of these types (morons) around me.

The difference between Nixon and Clinton is that one was a bad liar, the other exceptionally good.Incorrect. The difference is that there is some evidence that Nixon had a conscience.

Don't forget "That's Lasseter's deal", when Clinton admitted to Buddy Young
that he knew about the drug running in Mena. Just a personal favorite of mine.

The difference between Nixon and Clinton is that one was a bad liar, the other exceptionally good. The former never said: "On the impeachment, let me tell you, I am proud of what we did there because I think we saved the Constitution of the United States."

Not by Clinton, but about Clinton. One of the great all-time quotes about anyone.
From Robert Bennett --- In terms of size, shape, direction...the President is a normal man."

Clinton/Gore/Clinton quotes we'd
like to hear:
- "I plead guilty to all charges."
- "...and therefore I have decided to have myself committed."
- "I am not fit to hold this office and so I resign."

The "vast-right-wing" thing told me all I needed to know about these people.By then the bar had already been raised out of reach. I knew all I needed to know when the bar was at ankle level and easily stepped over it when he said, "I didn't inhale".
