If Chelsea really has developed an alcohol abuse problem, then I feel sorry for her. I also pity her for the miserable, wicked swine who are her (putative) parents. But she's an adult who has interjected herself into the national spotlight, e.g., the Talk Magazine article, and she should know better than to get stinking drunk or otherwise misbehave in a public place where the press is bound to see and report on it. I'd guess the Bush girls have learned their lesson. Is Chelsea really not smart enough to have done the same?
