It's impossible to keep the movements of these ships secret. For one thing,just the increased orders of supplies would tell anyone watching that a big ship is coming in. For another,other ships at sea will see it and it's escort vessels,and tell others. This ain't even mentioning how all the whores have shipping and/or deployment schedules taped to their walls.
Hopefully we got all sorts of other good intel.
It was only in the Italian-language La Repubblica that I saw reported (on Nov. 24th) that al Qaeda had left behind records of its overseas phone calls in a house in Kabul, with good info like names and phone numbers.

The old story of supply issuing parkas and snow shoes or mosquito nets and machetes is valid as to potential destination clue's.
I say if the third man wants to know make them get off his/her couch versus watching the schedule on CNNMSNBCBS etc etc We know this works for small teams and have seen it's effictive use for entire units that practice it.
Granted it ain't possible to sneak a carrier into port but what I'm saying is make em work for the arrival or departure dates and times, don't just give it to em.

The New Year has already been very kind to me. I just read a post by Jeff Head a few minutes ago that Bubba Bush has signed the authorization to FINALLY award Rocky Versace the Medal of Honor he so richly earned so many years ago! IMHO,this is a Christmas AND New Years present for ALL Americans!The whole damn country should celeberate this,as Rocky's actions were a gift to us all. I'm about as happy right now as I have been in a LONG time! I just wish Doug Miller were still alive to see this.
