Description: George Stiner is a black male born in Houston, Texas, on September 7th, 1946. He is one-meter eighty-five centimeters tall. His weight at this time is unknown. He has black hair which may be graying and brown eyes. Stiner should be considered dangerous. The United States is seeking Stiner¦s arrest and extradition from any country in which he may hiding. He is the subject of an arrest notice by INTERPOL.
Case Details: George Stiner is wanted by California authorities for his escape from San Quentin State Prison. He and his brother, Larry, were both serving life sentences for murder when they escaped from the Marin County, California, facility on March 31, 1974. The brothers fled U.S. jurisdiction. In 1993, Larry Steiner voluntarily appeared at the U.S. Embassy in Paramaribo, Suriname. He returned to the U.S. and was convicted, a year later, of escaping. His brother George remains a fugitive.
