Well, I'll sure agree that Waxman's an idiot- and a rotten one, too.... claims to be anti-tobacco "for the children's sake" but one of his big supporters is a Chinese tobacco firm.
( sorry, no link, I heard this on talk radio years ago! )

I just can't bear to watch the fools on these shows anymore- even C-Span's been corrupted, don't watch them, either.

If Bush administration had stepped in to help ENRON, Waxman would have screamed "fatcat favoritism".

Sine Bush administration refused to step in to help ENRON, Waxman screams, "Bush didn't step in to help the little people".

Waxman's nostrils would be flaring no matter what Bush does..it won't be too long before Waxman's attack dog politics hurts all democrats.

Kristol says it will soon become evident the Clinton administration did more for ENRON than Bush Administration.

Kristol says Lieberman will make a very important military speech, tomorrow.

"This is my rifle! This is my gun! This is for fighting! This is for....."

Commerce Secretary Donald Evans on MTP was abysmal. He could barely make a coherent response. Bush's economic wing of his cabinet are about as bad on TV as you can get. Where are Karen Hughes and Karl Rove when you need them?

Kristol continues his machinations in an attempt to destroy President Bush. Why does HE know about this speech? Because McCain and Lieberman are plotting and they are sharing the info with him. Kristol is doing his darndest to cause trouble, and I hope he gets his comeuppance.

By the way, I was pleased to see that The Weekly Standard issue that I saw at the bookstore is about as thick as a grocery insert in the paper. They must get NO ad revenue! Hope Rupert decides to pull funding!!

Timmy remnds me of "The Little Locomotive That Could."

"I think I can, I think I can" get Don Evans to implicate the Bush administration. Think again Timmy, ain't gonna happen.

Sooner or later these guyz will have to hang their collective lamestream heads and admit the Bushies are above the fray.

Can we please start killing Sadam or something. Anything that's real news.

I thought O'Neill did fine. He's just low-key. Next - it was absolutely great. Hume and Snow first nailed Dingell for his $10,000 received from Enron, then his own phone calls received from Enron, whe HE wasn't recusing himself - then for the focus of his investigation(s), if any. They then asked him if he planned to have Clinton-Stooge Rubin testify as part of his investigation. Dingell looked like the sniveling hypocrite that Democrats are, on this issue.

Kristol said he received a draft of Lieberman's speech.

Kristol is right..there is no Vast Left Wing Conspiracy among the media. The media doesn't need to conspire, it's genetic!!!

Kristol says the ENRON story is going to get much more bipartisan in the coming weeks, and he's not sure there is a political scandal here. He said, "I don't believe the ENRON scandal goes anywhere".

He says the conservative message is getting out there now, for the first time via FOX who is beating CNN. He repeats his message...yes, there might be a gentle tilt to the left in mainstream media, just because they are located where they are, but that's not an excuse, and it's not the argument that will win converts to the right.

Please tell me I'm crazy, but I keep wondering if we are not going to see a possible Lieberman/McCain ticket for 2004. Am I surrounded by too much tin-foil, or what?

Dingle came on fuming about how Bush officials received donations and were later contacted by Enron execs. Brit Hume nailed him by pointing out that Dingle took money too. Dingle earlier said that because Enron contacted Cheney, there should be an investigation. Hume got Dingell to admit that Enron had contacted him too! Dingle refused to say when! It was classic.

Thanks for the CNN heads up. This is a new show, not the usual RELIABLE SOURCES repeat show from Saturday. Howie must be frantic for ratings...working 2 days a week. Wow!

My favorite quote from FNS today:

John Dingell (D-MI): "I have opposed Enron every turn."

Two seconds later, he admitted that he'd taken $10,000 from Enron in campaign money. That, he didn't oppose.

...But Dingel refused to say when Enron contacted him and was vague on the nature of the discussions.
