Katrina Vanden Heuvel of The Nation is on C-Span. She gets it! And boy is she steamed. She said so herself: Republicans "own" family values. Republicans "own" the flag.

She's such a nitwit, and soooo transparent. 30 seconds after she said people should use the internet to find out the truth about George Bush making secret deals with the Taliban, she was asked about the NYFD statue being altered to meet PC standards. She said (lied), she didn't know anything about the statue, and besides, the internet is full of right wing conspiracy theorists.

And yes, she threw in "This administration cares more about corporation fatcats than they do the little people."

A caller says, "I wondered who would be putting out such drivel, then I saw it was the editor of The Nation".

"This administration cares more about corporation fatcats than they do the little people."

An apt description of the previous administration, which saddled small and medium size businesses (that provide most of the jobs for the "little people") with high taxes and excessive and gratuitious regulations, while pimping the White House staff out to secure fat overseas contracts and sweetheart deals for selected mega-Corporations.

'Spouse Katrina is experiencing flashbacks? Or is she just cynically enraged at Bush's genuinely pro-growth philosophy, and a White House which will not step over small business to kiss corporate ass?

Who are the little people? As I am only 5' tall, I have to wonder if it is just me this administration does not care about! All of you tall guys (over 5'2") get everything. Could this be prejudism? Huh?!? I wanna know, so I can call Jesse and Al.

It seems like I only hear about being a "little people" from democrats. Do Republicans ever refer to their bosses (we who employ them) as "little people"?
