I would have no problem with that at all.

"There are just too many of us who think that all we have to do is type away at a keyboard and we've done somethng."

I very much agree with you. Here are some things to consider doing.
Sign up for the American Family Association's action alert at http://www.afa.net/. They will send you mailings on various issues of interest to social conservatives. They also have an activism link. You can also use their information and contact your senators and representative on your own.
Check out the Concerned Women for America site at http://www.cwfa.org/main.asp. There are a lot of state chapters of CWA. You can type the name of your own state on their search button to see what's going on near you, and, if you wish, you can do volunteer work for your state chapter. This group is a Christian group, and if you're not Christian, they should be able to direct you to other similar groups if thet exist in your area. If you're not comfortable being in the spotlight, political groups always need people to do things like stuff envelopes.
There are people on this site who get involved in their schools in various ways - the PTA, the library. They keep tabs on what books the local elementary school has, i.e., "King to King", "Heather Has Two Mommies", etc. Work with other parents if your child's school is pushing a political agenda. You will be less likely to be ripped to shreds or simply disregarded by left wing people if you work with a group.
A web site mentioned on FR is that of a Canadian woman who grew up in a homosexual household. It is at http://www.dawnstefanowicz.com/. I haven't contacted her, but I would think that young gay rights proponents and young people in general might be open to viewing her site even if they're not open to us.
I think that young people should know of the existence of the 1987 article, "The Overhauling of Straight America" and the follow-up book, "After the Ball - How America will conquer its fear and hatred of Gays in the 90s" by Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen. The Overhauling article is about six pages long and could be handed out to young people. Both detail a campaign to make homosexuality respectable. I think that young people should know that the selling of homosexuality has been no different from the selling of any other product.
Basically, just make your voice heard in circles other than conservative ones. There are some differences of opinion on this site, but we're mostly preaching to the choir.
These are some ideas, and I hope that other people can add to this list.
When you consider how the morals of this country have been degraded by a relatively small group, we should be able to make our voices heard. We're still in the majority. Mainstream media is less powerful than it was because of the Internet. A lot can be done by using the Internet.
