President Bush waves as he walks out of the White House in Washington, headed for Portland, Maine, where he is focusing on border and harbor security, Friday, Jan. 25, 2002. Slung beneath Bush's right arm as he walked to Marine One is the book, "Bias: A CBS Insider Exposes How the Media Distorts the News," by former CBS News correspondent Bernard Goldberg, which accuses television news executives of tilting liberal in how they report the news.

Love it, Love it , Love it!!!! You all think CBS will show this picture tonight?
To: NativeNewYorker
Very cool of him to be carrying that book so prominently when he knew he would be photographed.
Can't say the guy doesn't have a great sense of humor.

That's a photoshop job.
Either that or global warming has kept the leaves on the trees this winter.

depends on what kind of tree and bushes. The hedges seem to be privet (possibly) or youpon holly. They are evergreens. Can't really make out the tree very well but it could be an evergreen as well. I have been to the whitehouse a few times during the winter and some of the trees are definatley evergreens.

According to Barbra, Bush can't read.
To: NativeNewYorker
Didn't he say something like:
"Everyone has the right to an opinion, some people call it news."
To: NativeNewYorker
Is this photo real!!!??? This is brilliant of him if it is.
To: aShepard
I do not know and I am not an expert.
Are those hedges evergreen as well as the tree behind him? I know many plants used for landscaping are evergreen so as not to leave the area bare in winter.

OK, c'mon now... I've seen this photo on a couple of threads here today. Does anyone know if this is for real, or a 'Photoshop job'? I sure
hope it's for real!

Hey, it has been a mild winter and it is sunny today.

Yep it is real. Go to Yahoo. Type in George W Bush and then click photos and it should be there! This is great!
To: aShepard
Those are bushes. Most bushes are evergreens.

Well, in the time it took me to get my act together, several Freepers have pointed out that, yes, it's real. It's posted on the Yahoo! News website, and credited to "(AP Photo/J.Scott Applewhite)"

If you look real close at the cover, it says, "All Your Base are Belong to Us."
