Tiffany Hawkins sued Kelly for $10 million in late 1996, charging that he convinced her to drop out of school and have sex with him when she was 15, and that he encouraged her to participate in group sex with him and other underage girls.

Forgot to post my comment with the aritcle--anyway, so much for taking personal responsibility.

This guy is scum, so I have to ask. Why is it that these kind of people keep getting rewarded in today's society?
I don't know much about this guy's music, but you can bet that he will, if he hasn't already will be portrayed as a victim here and will be lifted by the hollywood community as the next best thing since sliced bread and win every award there is to be won.
He's in the opening ceremonies tonight at the games. This just sickens me!

Kelly is hardly the first celebrity to be accused of taking advantage of young girls. Gary Glitter, Rob Lowe, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roman Polanski, Rolling Stone Bill Wyman and even the legendary Errol Flynn all have been written about in this paper and others for allegedly having trysts with minors.

Funny how the writers would feel obligated to insert those names - all white entertainers and three whose allegations happened more than 40 years ago - and, as said elsewhere, no mention of Michael Jackson.
