Just looked up a bio on him, and according to the site I found he did go to MIT, but on a political science (and I hesitate to call that a science) scholarship. Had one IQ test that showed him at 180, and a near-perfect SAT. Originally he wanted to be an eye surgeon but an accident injuring his hand cut that plan short. He started doing drama at MIT.
