Every sane of legal age Isreali needs to be packing heat, and when these situations occur, take proper action.

Most of their young people have had gun training in the military and they should always be armed and willing to stop these terrorist on the spot.

What transgression? Is there something in Jewish law about bringing a weapon to the synagogue?

This is taken from another site, written by a Rabbi named R. Mermelstein:

In the Talmudic tractate of Shabbos, chapter 6, the fourth Mishnah states ":A man may not go out (of his private domain on the Sabbath) with a sword, a longbow, protective armament, a metal staff or a spear. If he does so, he is required to bring to the Temple in Jerusalem a sacrificial sin offering as he has unintentionally desecrated the Sabbath."

I don't know if the "Talmudic tractate of Shabbos, chapter 6, the fourth Mishnah" is Jewish law or not, but this sounds authoritative.

In other words, the prohibition was dreamed up by pointed headed academics.

Every religion has people who won't leave the scripture alone and have to add to it and distort it.

This story must be a lie. There is no way that an armed civilian could stop a terrorist. Sarah Brady told me so.

You may be right - I just did a google search and found that.

No Bible handy, but I don't recall any prohibition in Deuteronomy for weapons on the Sabbath. Maybe there is, but one would think under the current circumstances that G*d wants his people packing heat.

I looked and didn't find anything.

Let me ask a question to everyone ... stop what you are doing right this second. Ponder this.

If a mad man suddenly appeared in your immediate vicinity and declared "You're all going to die" ... what will you do? Dial 911? Pray? Call Sarah Brady?

Best be thinking about it because the ragheads intend to bring this style of fight to our streets, our offices, our homes and our schools. They aren't recruiting in Canada for the fun of it.

Same actions in New York City would get him locked away for 5 years. Just ask Bernard Goetz.

"Thank God I had my pistol with me."

Scary thought, but I think it's only a matter of time before we start seeing these types of suicide attacks on U.S. soil.
