Drudge had reported earlier that Howard was a CBS candidate for Letterman's TV time slot

Something about Stern replacing Letterman on CBS when Letterman moves to ABC.

Rumors are that if Letterman jumps to ABC, CBS will get Stern to replace him. I guess after all the other bad decisions they've made, they figure one more won't matter.

My guess would be that scientists have determined that Howard Stern is the "missing link!"

Howard is on the top of the "short list" candidates to replace Letterman if Letterman goes to ABC. It might lead me to watch CBS for once.

Hmmmm, would CBS dare to offend gays, minoritys, religous people...well, we KNOW they will offend religious people, but what about the other self-pity, self-serving, knee jerk Lib's? How are they going to react to that?

Stern is good for radio, but thats about it.

Does anyone know why Fred left the show, I never see him on the E! shows anymore.

fred has become catatonic and while he's still with the show he remains very heavily medicated.

Stern is one of the most perverted sicko characters I have ever seen. His late night show with bare chested prostitutes and whatever has pushed the limits beyond the limits of decency. Of course, kids have access to this sick, morbid entertainment. I want to vomit every time I hear his name.

And boring
I turned on his radio show once to see what all the todo was about

Was bored after 15 minutes
Still can't figure out this guy's appeal
Must be a generational thing

His old Channel 9 TV shows were incredibly funny. If he hosts Letterman's timeslot it will be a hit. The problem with the late night talk shows nowadays is that they are all bland. One problem is those stupid pre-interviews with the guests. Howard wouldn't allow pre-interviews. It would be spontaneous.

Soooo....Now that you listed his positive characterstics, what is it about Howard that you DON'T like?
