The U.S attorney's office filed a complaint Wednesday asking for an injunction against a Durant man who has allegedly helped African Americans file $168 million in illegal tax claims seeking reparations.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Dave Fulcher said Andrew L. Wiley, 78, is accused of helping file at least 3,910 fraudulent tax returns since June 1996. Fulcher said at least three people received the $43,209 Wiley suggested they request.
