The big problem is: when you sell rights to a film,the buyer can do just about anything he/she wants with it. A good example was the very conservative novel Advise and Consent which film maker Otto Preminger turned into a "liberal" movie.
Well, I have to give Clancy nominal pain here because when he first started selling the movie rights, for his initial movies, he DID attempt to maintain some control. I remember him talking about it.
**But the key here is that liberals/socialists have won control over the vast majority of our culture wars.....Media,Entertainment, Literary form, much of religion, they teach our children (private and public, colleges etc.)
