John, how about the venerable JH2 "mega-ping" for this thread?

Regards and BUMP'ed to you.

They are listed on the acknowledgements. Several are FReepers helping out.

If a major publishing house picks it up, they will of course provide highly specialized staff to do it more thoroughly as a part of their contract.

Having said that, the folks helping me now are a real God send and I couldn't be more grateful to them for their help.

Got to be ... I set a schedule for myself and now I have to keep it.

Just hope I wasn't too agressive! LOL!

Don't buy it then. The operative word here _Jim is "fiction".

With all due respect, Jeff, seems you took offense where none was intended from what I saw in Jim's post. Remember, you have asked people to let you know what they think, and it's impossible for any writer to improve if they're not wide open to constructive criticism, which is exactly what I interpreted his comments to be. You should see the comments given in writers' groups where real critiquing is taking place.

Best of luck to you with it.

I probably should have added that they also forward the order information, so you can ship the product.

Yep, I used Americart.com for a long time on an e-commerce site of mine, until the volume warranted going with a solution that has realtime processing. At that point I went with a Yahoo! store, which was easy to get set up.

There's a long history with _Jim. I won't go into it in detail or bore you with it, but after about three years of interaction with him, it is painfully obvious (at least from my perspective) that he's not attempting "constructive" critisism. If I have misjudged, then my apologies to all on this thread and to _Jim.

IN fact, either way, I am sorry I snapped back at him on this thread. I don't characteristically do that. I suppose I just got fed up and typed a littly too hastily.

I am more than open to constructive crticism and have received a lot over the last six months that has improved my material dramatically.

In fact, I have updated this excerpt a good bit as a result of a number of emails and this thread. You can see the "developing" result at:

http://www.dragonsfury-breathoffire.com/vol2sample1.htm

Anyhow, thanks for the gentle "nudge".

So timely after the cops were refused entracnce to public places because they were packin' .... Gotta love it ... is this England.??? Har -Har - Har.. Stay safe .... Mark

I look forward to sending you a book. I believe you will find it an enjoyable, engrossing and thought provoking read. Please let me know your thoughts once you have read it ... and, if you are so inclined, consider placing a review on the Amazon link.

Book Two, from which this excerpt is pulled, will be available in late May.

Regards.

This is an excerpt from book two of the series.

If you haven't already, you can read about book one which has been available for several months at it's site:

Dragon's Fury - Breath of Fire

It's available there and on Amazon, among other places.
