For those who doubt this, let's go to the audiotape, as captured at a Tom Cruise fan page. Apparently, these were recorded before and after Cruise's appearance on the Rosie show.
On her feelings toward Tom Cruise:I never once said I want him naked in the bed doing the nasty. I want him to mow my lawn and get me a lemonade. He makes my palms sweat. He makes my heart beat, and I adore him, gay, straight, or somewhere in between, he is the perfect man that ever walked the face of the earth...Some gay rights people, or gay activists have said, "Oh, you're trying to make people think that you're straight by saying that Tom Cruise thing." As if gay people cannot appreciate the aesthetic beauty of somebody of the other gender. That is so untrue. He's absolutely the most handsome, gorgeous, make me blotch man I've ever met in my life. That doesn't mean that that's my sexuality, or that I'm going to end up marrying him or would want to. You know, I've said on my show many times, I don't like him in an adult, sexual, carnal way. I like him like Davy Jones. I used to put his poster on my wall, and kiss it goodnight before I went to bed. That's Tom Cruise to me.

Personally, I learned years ago not to project my presumptions about performers personal lives, since that will ALWAYS lead to disappointment as soon as something juicy is revealed -- and something ALWAYS is revealed. I am just pointing this out as a way of illustrating the ways that the media will just roll over for liberal icons and activists rather than questioning them in the same way they would those right-of-center.

For the record -- I predicted this day would come. Not simply that Rosie would out herself, not only that she would do so with fanfare that dwarfed Ellen DeGeneres' announcement, but that she would use her reputation as a child advocate -- carefully cultivated while she was in the closet -- and make herself a poster child for the Gay-stapo. As is documented in the Drudge leak, she is willing to take up the mantle, saying "I am the gay parent."
A few days after the Ellen hoopla, I posted such a notice to a USENET television newsgroup (this was before I discovered FR), and got a lot of heat. Well, I was right.
Unfortunately.
You and I are wittnessing parallel universes. One universe is the America becoming increasingly Conservative.
The Hollywood and Media Elite Universe is still advancing its agenda.
Who ever says that we are winning is wrong. Much, Much work needs to be done.
Why not choose to be a victim? It's then so much easier to claim the world is out to get you should you fail or be criticized. Beyond that, lots of folks just prefer rebellion - especially if they've been hurt as a young person. It's not that difficult to understand the choice.
Not to sound harsh or anything, but Tom Cruise is known to like beautiful women. I mean, he was married to Nicole Kidman and is now dating Penelope Cruz, both of whom are very good-looking, not to mention, thin people.
Wouldn't it be nice if her show bottomed out because of this?
Her anti-gun antics lost a lot of viewers, but her show was kept on hoping viewers would forget over time. She never did get them back for that stupid move.
Let's hope this one puts her show off the air.

This is the stuff that she was throwing out there cover her sexuality, right? Then why didn't 1}Anyone bring up the fact she is the same age or older than Cruise & 2}When Cruise "made it big" he was an Adult, hence, making Rosie an adult as well.
No one caught onto this statement?, or the fact that Rosie's admitted "behaviour" is just a tad bit odd even if it were true?? I mean come on, Putting teen Idol posters up on your wall as an adult, AND kissing them goodnight?!
