“Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe today announced that Donna Brazile, former Campaign Manager for Gore-Lieberman 2000, has been appointed to the position of National Chair of the Voting Rights Institute (VRI), the Party's major initiative to promote and protect the right to vote. She takes the helm from Maynard Jackson, former Mayor of Atlanta, who has served in the position since 2001.”
Ok, this is cool, the guy who helped Clinton/Gore conduct the greatest assault on campaign finance laws in history appoints one of the nastiest racists, this side of Zimbabwe, to oversee the passin’ out of “walkin’ around money” on election day.
This is just too good, and rife with implications.
In the first place this makes twice in less than 18 months that Maynard Jackson, an honorable man, has been sodomized by the white democrat power structure - put in place by the “First Black Ex-President”, the ethically challenged, impeached William Jefferson Clinton.
Jackson was in line to assume the head of the DNC a year ago when Clinton unceremoniously told him to go pick cotton, installing instead the man who turned a $100k “investment” in the now bankrupt Global Crossings into $18 million [and the guy who just happened to guarantee the first loan on the Clinton’s DC mansion] - Terry McCauliffe.
But enough about McCauliffe.
Brazile has served in many capacities within the party of shame; Deputy Campaign Director for Jesse Jackson’s 1984 failed presidential bid, Chief of Staff for the dim-witted DC shadow Rep. Eleanor Norton Holmes and most recently Campaign Director for another failed presidential bid, that of Albert Gore Jr. who, for whatever reasons tolerated her disrespectful attitude [it has been reported that she was not impressed with his public speaking abilities and would often needle him after a speech with the critique “Nice teach in, sir”] throughout the campaign.
Brazile is not a visionary but rather, a small thinker, always exploring the territory inside the box. She sees the Democrat Party as nothing grander than an ad-hoc association of marginalized pressure groups “women, blacks, organized labor, and ethnic minorities.” She sees among the key emerging democrat constituencies - the disabled, lesbians and gay men – not exactly lofty demographics and certainly not a reassuring foundation.
Predictably, this type of talk does not sit well among the few traditional party power brokers left. “We hope Donna Brazile's sketch of the 'pillars' of Democratic strength does not represent the genuine blueprint…wanted to make sure the strategy of the Gore campaign…wasn't one that burned the bridges back to the center." - Democrat Leadership Council President Al From.
Burning bridges on the path back to the center is what modern democrat politics is all about; the DLC knows it, which is why it was formed.
Can you comprehend just how hideous a character must be in order to actually be fired from a liberal democrat’s presidential campaign?
Donna is that character.
Donna Brazile is the end product of the democrat’s selective breeding program; loud, abrasive, mean, fat, ugly, a smug racist and beyond shame – characteristics she shares with the Junior Senator from New York.

Dukakis fired Brazile PERSONALLY because he could not abide her as the source of vicious, totally groundless, rumors being circulated about then Vice President George Bush Sr.
In 1988 Brazile told reporters in New Haven, Connecticut:
"…It wasn't on the stock market yesterday but I understood they got a little concerned that George was going to the White House with somebody other than Barbara. I think George Bush owes it to the American people to fess up. The American people have every right to know if Barbara Bush will share that bed with him in the White House. I'm talking about Barbara Bush and someone with the initials J.F. or whatever the names are.”
There was and remains zero evidence of GHW Bush conducting himself in anything but an honorable manner, but Brazile, in full Goebels mode, decided to cast the big lie in a vain attempt to save Dukakis’ ludicrous campaign.
In more gentle times the senior Bush could have merely challenged her to a duel, thereby cleansing the gene pool of her defective chromosomes.
Brazile is a demagogue, not only eager to play the race card but far more adept at it than are most democrats. Sadly we seem to be past the point where a major party eagerly rewarding such behavior even raises eyebrows.
"I will not let the white boys win in this election…A white-boy attitude is I must exclude, denigrate, and leave behind.”
Say what?
This woman is allowed to do or say anything she wants without any repercussions?
Apparently so.
Continuing to flail, but spitting venom all the way.
"They'd rather take pictures with black children than feed them…The Republicans bring out Colin Powell and J.C. Watts…"
Watts and Powell stand therefore accused of being Uncle Toms of the first order.
Watts in a letter to Gore, bitterly complained of Brazile’s “racist remarks.”
Powell even more precisely dissected her statements.
"I am disappointed and offended by Ms. Donna Brazile's remarks concerning me. We can debate and disagree over programs and approaches, but let's not start the new century by playing the polarizing race card"
Brazile seems most comfortable tilling the bleak soil of the racial divide, her comments regarding the method in which the Florida 2000 election was run are typical, a not so subtle suggestion that it was the official policy of Florida officials [read Jeb Bush] to prevent Blacks from voting by force or arms.
”...In disproportionately black areas, people faced dogs, guns, and were required to have three forms of ID...”
She seems to have carte blanche, to utter whatever rhetoric that energizes her cobbled together constituency of gender challenged pink activists, socialist loonies and unwed mothers.
Yet this evil windbag continues to get considerable “face time” on even supposedly conservative cable networks.
With such a pedigree, Brazile is actually perfect to lead the Orwellian sounding Voting Rights Institute.
It’s not about voting rights, it’s about reaching out - extending the vote to felons, to illegal aliens and down-and-outers whose ballots are plied with packs of cigarettes, cheap wine or a few greenbacks.
It is about harvesting the votes of folks too stupid to leave the plantation - intellectual slaves sanctifying, countenancing and embracing their own continued servitude - without which the party of William Jefferson Clinton would be a minor player, unable to win national elections, unable to disrupt efforts to deconstruct the welfare state and unable to hinder the defense of what remains of the free world.
Brazile shares her dark vision with the current DNC leadership, the hand picked Clintonista power structure. It is not unlike a high wire act, it forces the party to work without a net not by design but by necessity, the mangled constituencies not numerous enough to allow any margin of error.
Like the 1962 version of the Flying Wallendas, the Democrat Party is headed for a fall, the only question is when - not if.
