Gotta disagree with you about DS9. The last two seasons were better than Next Generation at its best (even though I hated the final episode), and even during its boring beginning phase it was still better than Voyager. By a mile.

And it pisses me off that no one is showing reruns of DS9.

Do you have satellite (I have Dish Network) with superchannels? It's on nightly on a Chicago superstation (KWGN?) I'll check my listing tonight when I go home and let you know via FReepmail tomorrow.

Well, if DS9 got better it lost a lot of loyal Star Trek fans in the process.

I stopped watching it after the second season. I didn't like any of the characters or the plot lines.

You're right about DS9. I think it's the most underappreciated of the series- and maybe the best, although it would take a lot to surpass seasons 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Next Generation. Sure, they're a bunch of liberals, but that only annoyed me once or twice over the years.

Watching a test pattern was more entertaining than watching Voyager

There were some REALLY good DS9 episodes, one about the reality of war ... and I loved the baseball one.

I think that Spike TV is now showing them!

spike is now showing DS9, I had great hopes for Enterprise but they have to do better with their plotlines. I didn't see the episode with the ''open mind'' remark but that line is so lame. An open mind should not be confused with an empty mind.

I see them all the time. Seems to me that they are on the mens network or whatever. Both DS-9 and STNG.

"And it pisses me off that no one is showing reruns of DS9."

I think they might be showing DS9 reruns on Spike TV ... I get satellite TV and, in going through the channels checking to see what was on tonight, I distinctly remember one channel showing episode after episode of DS9 reruns tonight. I think it might be Spike TV, but it might also be UPN or one of those other off-the-wall channels.
