A leader of the largest Palestinian terrorist group spearheading suicide bombings and other attacks against Israel says he is following the orders of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.
''Our group is an integral part of Fatah,'' says Maslama Thabet, 33, a leader of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade. Fatah, headed by Arafat, is the largest group in the Palestinian Authority, the government of the autonomous Palestinian territories.

''We are the armed wing of the organization. We receive our instructions from Fatah. Our commander is Yasser Arafat himself.'' My my...how bold they have become...they really think they have won the PR battle don't they.
I hope they call this guy as a witness when Arafat is finally put on trial.

The hell with the trial, put a bullet in his sorry @ss & be done with it. Followed by a Military sweep of Palestine killing anybody holding a gun acting against the IDF.

"I hope they call this guy as a witness when Arafat is finally put on trial."Given terrorists short fuses (no pun intended), I seriously doubt this guy will be alive if and when Arafat ever gets to trial.

JERUSALEM -- Two Palestinian militiamen, including a bombmaker, were killed Thursday when an Israeli helicopter fired three missiles at their West Bank hide-out, Palestinian officials said.
The slain men belonged to the Al Aqsa Brigades, a militia linked to Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement. One was identified as Motassem Abdel Dayem, 27, a bombmaker in the militia.
The two men were in a shack in a chicken farm in the town of Anabta in the northern West Bank when they were killed, Palestinian security officials said.
The Israeli military had no immediate comment.

''They are under siege, under blockade and almost at the edge of starvation,'' he says. ''When you dehumanize the life of human beings, they end up feeling their life is not worthy. Five years ago, you might find one suicide bomber in an entire city. Today, it is different. There are many, because they feel there is no meaning to their lives.''These crazies create their own problems then whine to the UN and the Euros to intervene. They screw themselves at every turn, make sure they are impoverished, then cry foul at the Jews of Israel who just want to be left alone by these psychopaths. Muslims always seem to bother neighboring nations that are not Muslim.

(17:30) Report: 4 Palestinian leaders killed in car bomb
Four Palestinian leaders were killed a short time ago when a car bomb exploded in the Palestinian-controlled Bala village, a few kilometers from the earlier reported assassination in Anabta, near Tulkarm, Palestinian sources told Israel Radio.
Israeli forces reportedly fired on a booby-trapped Palestinian vehicle, which then exploded.
The leaders apparently belonged to Islamic Jihad

Hasn't Bush decided to back them ? No he hasn't. He (us) did what Israel has already done...entertained the possiblity of an independent Palestinian state...That is a million miles from reality, but if the postureing brings a cessation to the violence, if only temporarily, then it will be considered a PR victory on Bush's part.
I think a violated cease fire (PLO suicide bombers continueing) would be the green light that Israel needs to really whoop some ass. The leftist PLO appologists will sound pretty stupid the next time around.

The new mantra from the Palestinian terrorists: "All we have are these guns and the Israelis have tanks." This sounds like they're begging for a successor to the Karine A so they can have tanks & really big guns, too.
