The Upstate Common Voice ^

From the site (http://www.commonvoice.com/govrace/default.asp):

"Seven Republican candidates and one Democrat are aiming for the executive office of South Carolina.

Who will make it?

We don't know, but you can help your candidate reach the top of our Upstate Common Voice race for governor.

Here is how it works.

In the column below, you may enter your E-mail address and submit your vote.

You will be asked to confirm your vote via E-mail. You are only allowed to vote once."

A little note from me:
This poll is not restricted to S.C. residents.
The link is on the upper right hand corner of the main page of the website. (http://www.commonvoice.com/)

(This is my first post, please forgive if not quite right.)

I voted for Mark Sanford. He was our Rep. in the house. He ran on a platform of term limits and, he actually kept his promise!!! He voted against pork projects for his own district because he says the federal govt should not be into pork, A great guy, but I really wish he'd run against Hollings.

Hey doc,

Tell me more, I am willing to be properly swayed. :)
Ashamedly, prior to Sept 11th I was fairly ignorant of politics and I liked it
that way. Now I feel that my previous apathy makes me slightly culpable.
I'm still a babe in the woods here, but know that I have found a great
resource in Free Republic. It is certainly the place to cut one's teeth.

Do you know of any other resources online to view each candidate's issues?

Thanks much,

mimi
