I was aware of reports about Iraqi troops moving west to the Jordan border, but this is the first report I've seen regarding a troop movement north and the shutting down of oil operations in the north.

I'm gonna climb out on my limb here abd predict that we take Iraq down in about two days, without any major military engagements....The whole regime is based on terror, pure and simple......if we can take out Saddam, his sons, and the top 25 or so folks in the military and the secret police..the whole schebang implodes.....it'll be a tremendous victory for Bush

So the Regular Republican guard becomes vulture meat while the elites stay back to guard Saddam.

The only ones left are the members with offical position in government, too bad they are doomed now.

Maybe the deal is Jordan gives up land for a Palestinian state and gets a piece of Iraq in return. Just a guess.
