Ironicaly my interviews went best when I did it alone without the help of a lawyer. Lawyers are a real pain and often in bed with the INS for favors. So usualy they end up being so accomodating they end up making your case look bad. At least that was the case for me. My lawyer was getting yelled at by the INS officer and I had actualy to step in and defend her: pathetic.
Fortunately, I think we've got a very good one. He's older, been the president of various Immigration Lawyer Associations, and seems a genuinely good guy that wants to help us.
Bottom line is that it's in God's hands - He can pull ANYTHING out of the fire. And honestly, I don't really see any problems with this. It's been a real pain putting all the paperwork and physicals and everything else together, but I think we'll be fine. ESPECIALLY with a solid covering of prayer from you folks.
Thanks again!!!
