(Orlando-AP) -- A democratic attorney who challenged republican absentee ballot applications during the disputed 2000 presidential election has announced he will run for congress in a newly created district.

Harry Jacobs said he will run in the new central Florida seat which republican Florida House Speaker Tom Feeney helped create during this legislative session's redistricting process. Feeney is expected to run for the seat.

Jacobs made his decision at the urging of national democratic leaders such as representative Nita Lowey of California, head of the democratic campaign committee.

Feeney spearheaded a successful effort by the Florida house to pass a measure giving the state's 25 electoral votes to George W. Bush, but the Florida senate officially adjourned without acting on it. Former Vice President Al Gore gave up his bid for the presidency after a U.S. Supreme Court decision doomed his chances for counting more votes.

Oh! Freep him! By all means then.

I've done a few Whitehouse freeps, and annoyed the hell out of Hillary last year in the Salute to Israel parade in NYC.

Have fun!

This is the Guy WHO!

File a suit to block all Absentee Ballots in Seminole County.

This is the Guy who cost the Tax Payers of Seminole County hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees.

This is the Guy who did not care about how the Military Voted, he just did not want them counted.

This is the same Guy who did wrong the Supervisor of Election in Seminole County, a wonderful, fair and honest person.

This Guy is the Zenith of legal liberals in this country.

Thats is who this is: Harry Jacobs the "Famous" Personal Injury Lawyer.
