It is stupid. Many of the jobs created will not be in Alaska. The Teamsters have made clear they are after the jobs drilling in ANWR will create in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Drilling pipe, construction equipment, nuts and bolts are not going to be manufactured on the North Slope of Alaska. They will be made in the lower 48 or overseas and somebody will haul them north.
This idiot author points out that there are no teamster drilling jobs in Alaska as proof that Hoffa doesn't care about teamster drilling jobs in Alaska.
The lack of Teamster drilling jobs in Alaska is exactly why he supports drilling in ANWR to remedy it!
