Funny, that no one wants to ride in to help arafart. He's lost 'face'. He says he's soooo concerned about his people and what Israel is making them 'go through' under siege. BULLCRAP. He's scared sh**less for his OWN self and like every other act, uses OTHERS as his shield.

Too bad 'we' can't start a freep on arafart. 'We' could start sending him spoons....great big tablespooons. Label them...'for the tasting of your own medicine'.

This siege is brilliant strategery by the Israeli's. Even the other Arab states are "isolating" Chairman Terrorfat. I'm sure the fact that his allies are a lot of wind and no action was factored into the decision to cut the little general off from the world.

9/11 put an end to Arafat sentiments in this country. Except for university professors and the media, of course.

You know Arafat's stock is falling into the Enron zone when Saddam tells him to get lost.

"What I am facing is not important. More important is what my people are going through day and night."

Sure we heard that one before from you Ari. Sounds more like a scum mafia gang man caught with his pants down. Lucky it ain't his boss saying hi. It'd be dead by then.

Hmmm. Maybe Cheney's little tour was more successful than the media knew.

[While America is fed up with Arafat's failure to curb the violence]

This kind of bullshit in the news media makes me furious. We're not fed up with Arafat's "failure" to curb the violence. We're fed up with his continued prosecution of a campaign of terrorist attacks on Israel. Arafat is not some well intentioned leader having trouble keeping unruly followers from attacking Israel. He's the terrorist commander who is ordering the attacks.

Instead of clear statements on what is happening in the Middle East, we get doubletalk from government and the media. Why can't these people call a spade a spade?
