The idea of allowing the unrestricted access to the DROS database by city attorneys who are pursuing exploratory civil actions would vilate the privacy of firearms purchasers...

It is important that non-gunowners also call on this. If these politicos are allowed to go after law abiding gun owners, who else might they target for "socially objectionable" activities? It's gunowners today, but it could be you tomorrow.
This is going before the Senate Public Safety committee today. Contact info for that committee is...

...or you can slam here to send mail to all 5 with email at once. (Funny how John Burton doesn't want to be bothered with email.)
John Burton - possibly the most corrupt, venal leftist in America, Willie Brown's bestest buddy on earth.
Bruce McPherson - my state senator, a RINO who approves of gun control and abortion. I'll still call him.
Richard Polanco - possibly the worst office holder in the United States, not a leftist or anything political like that, merely a Mexican who doesn't believe the United States should exist at all. A thug, really, from a family that is well known in Mexico as a violent crime family. "Mexican Mafia". Nice, huh?
Byron Sher - "Just call me doofus". A furry, clueless professor who probably talks to himself why walking aimlessly around the lawns in Sacramento. Guess how he feels about gun control.
John Vasconcellos - my former assemblyman, who once sent out a campaign flyer showing him hugging his mommy. Last of the 70's sensitive guys.
Robert Margett? Have no idea who he is.
If this is the CA Senate Public Safety Committee - and Richard Polanco is on it - then it's obvious why California is no longer safe to live in.
You can call all you want. They won't care. Polanco probably has his own storehouse of smuggled machineguns. He'll do anything he can to take away weapons from Americans. He doesn't want any opposition to the Reconquista.
OK, I'll call, but with the current makeup of this committe, it won't make any difference. It IS important to elect Republicans in this state: they're the only ones who can stop the Democrats. Yes, they're often bad enough themselves, but the alternative is even worse.
