In Indiana-most are listed as high schools or universitys. There is one high school listed that is only 20 minutes from my home. I will be attending that day if allowed, and if I cannot get the school board to negate this sick attack on our children.

Good point-I think he is going to be doing at least one show from there-maybe more. I just would like for this activity to be stopped in its tracks. It has no business in our school systems-anywhere. If homosexuals want to start some private schools for homosexuals-then fine-do this crap there. Otherwise-not on the backs of parents who may find homosexuality to be a sickness and would never dream of having their children support such a thing. When did it come down to our children having to support a SEXUAL PERSUASION????? SICK!

I hope bill o"reilly gets wind of this right now and starts waking up the sleeping masses before that day comes-April 10. I think it would be just grand to have a parent in everyclass to make up for that silence whenever a card is raised. Who has more weight in a school anyway-the special interest group that is made up of homosexuals ( who cannot themselves produce children) who crave approval for there sexual doings-or PARENTS-who not only have children IN the schools but who are a special interest group who PAY for that same school.

I doubt that this will get much, if any real traction here in AZ.  If we don't like the public schools, we can go to charter schools (which are private - but publicly funded).  The Charter schools are, by and large, better than the public ones.  Most of those won't put up with such nonsense.

This is total war. I live in one of the most conservative areas in the country(Limestone/Madison County, Alabama.)

I just looked up this website and, lo and behold, the highschool in my kid's school zone (Sparkman High School) is listed as a participant. Needless to say, I was very surprised. I will be starting to work the phones this afternoon. I am ticked off.

Me too-it is spring break here-but I am going to hit it hard. This time I am going to call the principle first, the superintendent second and every single school board member whose number I can find. This is an unwelcome invasion and detrimental to the goals of education. This is social engineering headed by a special interest group. I am ticked!

My daughters school is not on the list but I'm amazed that Brophy Prep is...that's the Catholic Boys prep school in Phoenix...

From reading the data on the day of silence web site it appears they want the kids to do the protest...in other words this is not being condoned by the schools...of course inaction on the schools part when/if it happens will be condoning the action.

I wonder if these schools are aware they have their names listed on the day of silence web site ? The appearance of the schools name on the site almost looks like the schools are sanctioning the event.

I'm pretty sure this is not the case, but rather the students signed up themselves and their schools...

Please correct me if I am wrong.

I don't care about the universitys--I guess I feel there that at the very least-the kids have a bit of age on um. But in MIDDLE SCHOOL? IN HIGH SCHOOL?

I think the schools need to be made aware that PARENTS know this is about to happen. Even if there is just a couple of kids in each class doing this---some will do it for fun----either way---IT IS WRONG! It is a wrongful use of school time. Besides....it may be something that parents strongly disagree with....Every single school district office needs to be called and informed of this insidious invasion of perversion and misuse of a child s time.

I am sending emails to everyone I know to inform them of the situation and encourage them to contact their local schools about this. I believe we should ask what they (school administrators) know, what their position is on this, and voice our disapproval to let them know we will not tolerate it.

I suggest EVERYONE copy your paragraph in your post and print it and SEND it to the PRINCIPAL and SUPERINTENDENT of your SCHOOL DISTRICTS.....that is the only way to get their attention.

I've sent the original post info to Sean Hannity - how about someone else send it to O'Reilly and include RePUBLIC's paragraph....
